Fan reaction to Icon Heroes’ line of Classic ThunderCats Minimates has been phenomenal, and Art Asylum has been putting everything they have into their designs for the two-inch mini-figure line. Now, they’ve put together a brand-new box set based on the TV-movie ThunderCats Ho!, and Icon Heroes is making this set more widely available than ever!

Featuring “new” ThunderCats Bengali, Lynx-O, Pumyra and Ratar-O, as well as a non-poseable minifigure of the Berbil named Ro-Bear Bert, this box set is available to all comic shops and specialty store retailers through Diamond Comic Distributors’ Previews catalog.  Now available for pre-order, the set will ship in the fall.

The three new ThunderCats in this set – blacksmith Bengali, healer Pumyra and wise, sightless Lynx-O – were introduced in the five-part 1985 movie “ThunderCats Ho!” as three Thunderans who came to Third Earth in the wake of Thundera’s destruction. Ro-Bear Bert was on of the two Berbils who saved the trio from the doomed planet, and Ratar-O was the Mutant commander who sought to capture them for the evil Mumm-Ra.

HASBRO INVITES KIDS AND FANS TO CREATE NEW TRANSFORMERS CHARACTER

Opening Globally Today, the “Fan Built Bot” Poll Kicks-Off Celebration of the Iconic Brand’s 30th Anniversary by Allowing Fans to Create New Transformers Character

Pawtucket, R.I. (April 18, 2013) — For the first time in history, the Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) TRANSFORMERS brand is inviting fans of all ages around the globe to help create a new TRANSFORMERS character that will be forever added to the TRANSFORMERS world. In anticipation of the TRANSFORMERS’ brand 30th anniversary in 2014, the “Fan Built Bot” Poll kicks off today, and will run through May 5th on TRANSFORMERS.com/vote. Hasbro invites fans to vote daily to shape this new TRANSFORMERS character. The new character will be made into an action figure featured in the “Thrilling 30” line of toys to celebrate the anniversary.

Hasbro is giving kids and fans the opportunity to make the “Fan Built Bot” character with votes determining everything from being an AUTOBOT or DECEPTICON—to its vehicle or other mode, color, personality and more. Kids and fans are encouraged to vote daily! Also, to keep with the theme of the fans being the ones who really shape and create this new TRANSFORMERS character, Hasbro will also give fans a say in the naming of the new character. The results of the poll will be announced by Hasbro at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, as part of the official kick-off to Hasbro’s TRANSFORMERS “Thrilling 30” anniversary celebration. Kids and fans will be able to purchase the “Fan Built Bot” character as a toy and will see the new character appear in official TRANSFORMERS comic books.

New York- Mezco’s ever expanding exploration into the DC Universe continues with the exciting edition of mystery Blind Box Figures. Each PDQ contains six characters from the DC Universe with 10 unique designs; each Mez-itz has a specific rarity scale with a super rare chase figure.

This oversized Krampus is 12″ tall from the tips of his “devilish” horns to the points of his cloven hooves. This sinfully adorable mythic creature is a hugably plump plush that is perfect for those who enjoy the darker side of the holiday spirit.

Mezco’s Krampus plush doll has all the trademark characteristic of the fabled creature with horned head, pointed tongue that sticks out, hoofed feet, and tail.

According to tradition, this beast is responsible for “handling” all the naughty children during the holiday season, gathering them and taking him back to his lair.
