Burbank, Calif., June 11, 2018 – DC Entertainment announced today the inaugural artist lineup for the publisher’s upcoming young reader imprints, DC Zoom and DC Ink. The artists will join the previously announced roster of bestselling young adult and middle grade authors to create diverse,relatable stories starring DC’s most iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and many more. Both original graphic novel lines are set to launch in spring 2019.

DC Zoom targets middle grade readers ages 8-12 and will tell stories focused on friends, family and growing up. The line will debut in April 2019 with Super Sons: The Polarshield Project, written by award-winning middle grade author Ridley Pearson and illustrated by Ile Gonzalez. The complete list of creative teams for the first wave of DC Zoom titles include:

Complete creative teams for the first round of DC Ink graphic novels include:

Real Ghostbusters Select Action Figures Coming to Stores in Late 2018!

Fans have delighted to Diamond Select Toys’ Select action figures based on the first and second Ghostbusters movies, with buildable dioramas of the Spook Central rooftop and the Firehouse façade. Now, it’s time to get real! The highly anticipated Real Ghostbusters action figures go up for pre-order on June 20th, and we’ve got the first official pics of the figures based on the hit 1980s cartoon series!

Egon, Winston and Slimer make up the Series 9 assortment, with the two ’Busters wearing their color-coded jumpsuits and packing all-new, cartoon-accurate gear, and Slimer coming with a support stand and three interchangeable faces! Designed by Yuri Tming, and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios, each figure packs approximately 16 points of articulation, and Slimer features all-new arm sculpts to better match his animated look.

Plus, each figure includes pieces to build the firehouse diorama – collect all 15 figures in Series 6 through 10 to construct the sign and front doors of the Ghostbusters headquarters! The firehouse features interchangeable parts, including teh sign and the “Hook & Ladder” lettering, so it can be converted from Ghostbusters to Ghostbusters 2 configuration.

Series 10 will feature Peter, Ray, and DST’s first ever fully articulated Mr. Stay-Puft! That series will complete the firehouse, so be sure to pick up Series 6 and 7 now, as well as the imminently shipping Series 8, all based on Ghostbusters 2.

Coming to All Screens in 2019

BURBANK, Calif. (June 11, 2018) – Warner Bros. Animation is announcing its most ambitious Looney Tunes content initiative to date with Looney Tunes Cartoons, a series of new short form cartoons starring the iconic and beloved Looney Tunes characters. With multiple artists employing a visual style that will resonate with fans, each “season” will produce 1,000 minutes of all-new Looney Tunes animation that will be distributed across multiple platforms – including digital, mobile and broadcast.

Looney Tunes Cartoons echoes the high production value and process of the original Looney Tunes theatrical shorts with a cartoonist-driven approach to storytelling. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and other marquee Looney Tunes characters will be featured in their classic pairings in simple, gag-driven and visually vibrant stories. Each cartoon will vary from one to six minutes in length and, from the premise on through to the jokes, will be “written” and drawn by the cartoonists allowing their own personality and style to come through in each cartoon.

The Outer Space Men are Celebrating 50 Years of Toy Innovation at Five Points Festival!

Five Points Festival show sponsor, The Outer Space Men, are set to display brand new 12″ and 8ft versions of the epic Colossus Rex figure!

New York, NY (May 28, 2018) – Hitting the scene in 1968 and licensed to Colorforms, The Outer Space Men were a group of seven bendable action figures designed by toy inventor Mel Birnkrant. Each of the original seven figures represented beings from other planets in our solar system including Alpha 7, The Man From Mars; Astro-Nautilus, The Man From Neptune; Commander Comet, The Man From Venus; Colossus Rex, The Man From Jupiter; Electron+, The Man From Pluto; Orbitron, The Man From Uranus; and Xodiac – The Man From Saturn.

After their initial success, they faded from the public eye in 1969 after man walked on the moon. It was in 2008 that wall street executive and co-owner of The Outer Space Men, Gary Schaeffer, published the long-awaited graphic novel reintroducing a whole new generation to The Outer Space Men world. With the huge success of the graphic novel, Birnkrant and Schaeffer issued a license to the four horsemen studios (seventh kingdom, mythic legions, masters of the universe) and released a new series of action figures.
To celebrate this auspicious occasion Clutter Studios has produced an 8ft tall Colossus Rex. Working for the past 4 months, Clutter Studios used 3D scanning and printing technology, to scan one of the original Colossus Rex figures and upscale it to both 12” and 8 f

t tall. 3D printing both versions, Clutter Studios assembled and finished an 8ft version with full articulation and a genuinely deadly two-handed battle mace!
